Embedding a Flickr Slideshow on a Web Page
Flickr is a great way to publish and share photos. It is also very easy to embed photo slideshows from Flickr onto web pages.
  1. Upload your photos to Flickr. The School of Public Health has a Flickr page and departments are free to create their own. We would be happy to upload your event photos to the SPH Flickr page if appropriate.
  2. Get the Embed code for your slideshow. There are several websites that will help you get the code you need for your page that will display your slideshow. All of them ask for the URL of the slideshow you want to embed, what height and width you want your embedded slideshow to be, etc. Once you enter in the information, code that you can place on your website is provided. This website should work:
  3. Flickr Slideshow
  4. Embed the code provided onto your web page:
    1. Copy the embed code generated by one of the websites listed above.
    2. Open the web page that you want to place the slideshow on in Dreamweaver.
    3. Place your cursor where you want the slideshow to appear.
    4. Switch to Code View and paste in the code.
This might involve some trial and error with slideshow sizing and placement. Below is an example.
